Big Idea: Testifying About God’s Faithfulness Generationally Must Be A Top Priority
Walking Faithfully With God (v. 7):
1) Setting my hope daily in God
2) Remembering the works of God
3) Keeping the commandments of God
Discipling The Next Generation:
1) Tell of Who God is (v. 4)
2) Testify about what God has done (v. 4-6)
3) Teach what God has commanded (v. 5-8)
“Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God, the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.”

2) What is this passage teaching me about God, Jesus, and/or the gospel?
3) What is a next action step the Holy Spirit is leading me to take from this text?
4) Who is God asking me to share what He is teaching me with?
