The God Who Sends Us

Psalm 96:1-6

Big Idea: Exalting God Over All Means Joyfully And Urgently Taking The Gospel To All

Declare To The Nations:

1) The Lord is our Salvation: sing to Him (v. 1-2)

2) The Lord is Glorious: exalt Him (v. 2-6)

“For ‘everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in Him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!’”
– Romans 10:13-15

“I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
- Romans 12:1-2

God’s Greatness Compels Us To Go:
1) Because God is worthy (v. 3-6)
2) Because others are worth it (v. 1-6)
