Big Idea: Wisdom Focuses On God’s Pre-Eminence In The Face Of Man’s Foolishness
Walking In Wisdom:
1) Respond Biblically & Not Fleshly To Difficulty & Hostility (25:1-13; 21-22)
“The fool says in his heart, ’There is no God.’ They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds; there is none who does good.’”
- Psalm 14:1
2) Trust God Wholeheartedly In The Face Of Adversity (25:14-44)
Biblical Wisdom: applying the knowledge God gives me as I submit my heart, mind, decisions, & life under the authority of God’s Word & surrender every area of my life to follow & obey the leading of the Holy Spirit
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. All this is from God who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making His appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For our sake He made Him (Jesus) to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.”
– 2 Corinthians 5:17-21
