Dear Harvest Annapolis Family and Friends,

The story of Harvest Annapolis is the story of God At Work. In the summer of 2015, God called a handful of people to Step Out in faith together and plant a new church built on the Word of God, focused on Jesus, and committed to fulfilling the Great Commission. During those 4+ years, Harvest has been a "Church in a Box", setting up and tearing down each Sunday at the middle school that God graciously made available to us.

This fall, God blessed His church at Harvest Annapolis with an incredible opportunity to purchase a new church home in Severn. An old barn and additional building that was converted to a church in 1988; it needs some work and TLC but sits on 10 acres of land with incredible potential for community impact. Would you please prayerfully consider how God would use you to participate with us on this exciting journey through prayer and giving generously as we pursue our vision to multiply disciples and see more individuals transformed by the life altering power of the Gospel?

We are seeking to raise a total of $100,000 through our KEEP STEPPING OUT campaign. We hope to raise the first $50,000 through 2019 end of year giving contributions. These funds will be used immediately to prepare our new home for worship by the end of the year. We are also seeking to raise an additional $50,000 in 2020 for much needed improvements to the building and a number of critical mission advancing projects related to the new church. Please take a moment to read below and see how these funds fulfill our vision as we KEEP STEPPING OUT:

We have an amazing opportunity to reach a new community, invite them to be part of the Harvest family and share the Gospel.  We will also renew the Nick Mburu Memorial Scholarship as we continue to partner with CRU in sharing the gospel on the campus of UMBC. Finally, Harvest will continue to advance the Great Commission by providing needed financial assistance to Harvest Kuala Lumpur as they continue their vital and strategic gospel ministry in the far east. In 2020 we plan to advance our One Mission vision and impact the community through restoring our playing fields to make them more accessible.

Repairs are needed before we move into our new church home and significant work is required to prepare our new home for impactful and passionate worship services in a welcoming environment. With some reconfiguration we will have office and work space, be able to host meetings, training, praise and prayer services as well as worship team rehearsals. In 2020 we plan to advance our One Church vision by building a kitchen and remodeling the fellowship hall for effective use in various church family, discipling, teaching and outreach hospitality events.

As part of our commitment to building strong families at Harvest, we plan to create and update the space and furnish classrooms in the Kid’s Ministry building. By providing an engaging learning environment, we will be making disciples of all ages and our kids will grow in their faith as they worship together in age appropriate settings on Sunday mornings. In 2020 we plan to advance our One Family vision by erecting a covered walkway to the Kid’s Ministry building as well as refurbishing the playground and creating a great outdoor space in which both our church family and the community can connect.

I am so thankful for each of you! God has used you to do His work and build His church at Harvest Annapolis. Would you KEEP STEPPING OUT with us through faith and prayer by:

One of my favorite verses in Scripture and one that God has imprinted on my heart over these past four years is “He who calls you is faithful; He will surely do it” (1 Thessalonians 5:24). We believe beyond a shadow of doubt that God has called us to KEEP STEPPING OUT in faith for His mission and glory, that He is faithful and will surely do it! Will you join us on this faith journey?
